Wafaa started learning jewelry design in 2005 with her friend and colleague Alisa Amin, she explored and learned everything there is to know in the world of wirework driven by the desire to broaden her horizons with the styles of jewelry that she could create. She studied to improve her techniques at the College of Applied Arts in Cairo University and the Arab Society for Applied Arts Designers. Her interest in jewelry started at the age of 7, playing with elastic bands & beads wanting to create something beautiful. She has always been creative trying to find beauty whether through sewing, knitting or jewelry making. Many years later she finally found a niche she loved and enjoyed, learned with some of the finest local jewelry makers in Khan el Khalili, who made it possible for her to make her own designs and taught her the workman tips.
