Mohamed El Shimi

 

Mohamed El Shimi, graduated from the Faculty of Arts 'Helwan Universaty' and the Faculty of Arts Department of Islamic Archaeology in 'Ain Shams University'. He has done studies in: Calligraphy and Islamic art - Mohamed Ibrahim School for Arabic Calligraphy in Alexandria - Prince Charles School in Egypt - Studies in porcelain and studies in stained glass in Al Fustat center of Ceramics - Manuscripts at the Library of Alexandria. Member of: Fine Artists Association - Assala Arts Association - Cairo Atelier - Alexandria Creativity Center - Alexandria Artists - Egyptian Society of Arabic calligraphy - The world body of Islamic Arts - Ghoreya Artists - Egyptian Society of Antiquities. Arabic calligraphy professor in Bayt El Ainy from 2000 until 2006 - Cultural Development Fund. Participated in the exhibitions: Youth Salon in 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 - Alexandria Library from 2005 until now - Arts Palace Egyptian Opera House in 2004 and 2005 - Creativity Center in Alexandria from 2005 until now - IRCICA - Turkey in 2006 and 2008 - Hall Salah Taher - Arabic Music Festival in 2008, 2009 and 2010 - Art Soul from 2010 to 2011 - Art Cafe from 2011 until now.
